From Creative Learning to embodied movement at the interfaces between Capoeira and Parkour

Abstract

This study, part of doctoral research in Physical Education at the interface of Art, aims to contribute to the development of innovative pedagogical processes in the hybridization of parkour and capoeira. It explores creative learning, creative processes and pedagogical strategies through research-creation (Paquin, 2019), in an approach guided by practice. By revealing body and play technologies in and for the promotion of creative learning and embodiment in artist or physical art physical education, it highlights the need for more studies on this little-explored interface.
